This training is based on the UK government’s statutory guidance Keeping Children Safe in Education (KCSIE 2026), the official document that sets out the legal duties and best practice for everyone working in schools, colleges, and education settings across England.
Safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility. This course is designed to give you the knowledge, confidence, and practical skills to keep children and young people safe from harm, abuse, and exploitation.
It explains the laws, policies, and procedures you must follow, so you can act quickly and correctly whenever there is a concern.
By the end of this course, you will understand your role and responsibilities, know how to identify risks, and learn exactly what steps to take to protect children and stay within legal requirements.

Assessment Method
After completing each module there will be a quiz to assess your learning. You will move through the later modules upon successful completion of the quiz test.
This process continues till the end of the course. You need to achieve and overall score of 70% correct answers to pass this online course.
