COURSE OVERVIEW
In support of HM Government strategy (December 2025), on tackling misogyny and violence against girls and women, our online training for staff has been specifically written and designed by our safeguarding specialists from the education sector.
This course content will equip all staff with the knowledge to effectively challenge any misogynistic attitudes expressed by pupils and adults.
By completing this course staff in schools and academies will be equipped with the knowledge to effectively challenge any misogynistic attitudes of pupils and adults.
Module 1: Foundations – Defining Misogyny & Incel
Module 2: Historical and Social Context
Module 3: Manifestations in Educational Settings / Impact of Students
Module 4: Responding to Incidents / Prevention and positive culture Building.
Anyone working with children and young people.
It is estimated that this online course will take approximately 2-3 hours to complete (depending on learning speed). As an online course you can complete this training in convenient stages and revisit whenever you wish. The system will record your progress throughout.
After completing each module there will be a quiz to assess your learning. You will move through the later modules upon successful completion of the quiz test. This process continues till the end of the course. You need to achieve and overall score of 70% correct answers to pass this online course.
