Genevieve is an up and coming northern artist. She is a self-taught visual artist. Her interests in contemporary and traditional art are eclectic.
Genevieves practice involves using objects and materials that are not usually considered to be used for art. Genevieve was recently short-listed along with 30 other artists as part of the New Lights exhibition, these artists are considered to be some of the most promising artists in the North of England.
Stonewall works to achieve equality and justice for lesbians, gay men and bisexual people. The aim from the outset was to create a professional lobbying group that would prevent such attacks on lesbians, gay men and bisexuals from ever occurring again.
Stonewall has subsequently put the case for equality on the mainstream political agenda by winning support within all the main political parties and now has offices in England, Scotland and Wales
